Drew Five is a prolific producer, musician and songwriter who first gained notoriety as one half of electropunk duo Feral Five, darlings of the underground, signed to Reckless Yes. Drew’s work has appeared in film, documentary & on radio (BBC6, BBC Kent, Radio X, Soho Radio). Drew’s own compositions as well as work for other bands, has appeared on Tom Robinson’s (Fresh On The Net) Mixtape. His Rijeka Airport Music Installation project was awarded a prize by the Croatian Ministry of Culture. He has also appeared in PRS M Magazine & Electronic Sound Magazine! He created new music at Berlin’s Funkhaus with award-winning producer Jan Bang (ECM) on live sampling, Grammy Award-winning composer/engineer Simon Goff (The Gold, Hildur Guðnadóttir) on violin, & Mercury shortlisted Eska on vocals. With Feral Five he has worked with new materials designer Francis Bitonti (designer of the Dita Von Teese 3D dress), Test Dept., Pitch Black, Shriekback, Black Grape, The Woodentops and legendary producer/songwriter Clive Langer (Deaf School), among others. He has written & performed new music for Martyn Ware (BEF/Tina Turner/Heaven 17) at the Picasso-insired 'Everything You Can Imagine Is Real' event at the National Portrait Gallery, London.
