Michael has worked with everyone from Imagination, Jason Donovan & The Alarm in the UK, before moving to New York and shooting for VIBE, The Source, XXL and Rolling Stone. He has shot album covers for SONY, BMG, RCA, Columbia and Velvel, with artists as varied as Pat Dinizio of the Smithereens and Momus. His first shoot in NYC was KRS1, followed by Mobb Deep, Faith Evans, Eve, Salt N Pepa, Meshell Ndegeocello, Maria McKee & Pharrell Williams. In Paris he has worked with the funk band Urban Groove Unit, Tamara Kaboutchek, and indie darling Soko. His older brother Stevie B was in the SKA band The Akrylykz, signed to Polydor along with Roland Gift, later of Fine Young Cannibals. His younger brother Vadim is the lead singer/songwriter in Black Glove. It’s a pretty musical family!
